Dog friendly cafe's in wirral
The Green Hut @ Moreton Shore. I have only recently visited this cafe, but definitely wish I had sooner, especially with it being so close to home! Conveniently located by the main car park at Moreton shore off Leasowe Road, you can enjoy a walk along the beach with your dog beforehand. Admittedly we did not order food from The Green Hut, just a £1 cappuccino (which was lovely), but I have heard their fish and chips is 'the best on the Wirral' and the menu is very reasonably priced too! All the seating is outside, but they do have blankets that can be borrowed in colder weather. There is also a litter picker station with bin bags to encourage customers to clean up the beach, offering a free drink to those who bring litter back to dispose of and a sausage to their dogs.
Bank Coffee Shop in Hoylake. We really enjoyed our visit to the Bank Coffee Shop; we were made to feel very welcome from the get go and the dogs were fussed. It has to be one of my favourites! This cafe is situated on Market street inside an attractive grade 2 listed old bank building, yet the interior has a more modern twist and a very cosy feel. The food is delicious and the hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows was probably the best I have ever tasted! All ingredients are fresh and high quality, and all food and drink is also available to take away, which is a bonus. Relax on comfortable couches with a drink and possibly a bite to eat after a walk along the local beach with the dogs.. Perfect if you ask me!
Kirby Park Cafe in West Kirby. This cafe really is lovely and has a lot of history; it used to be the station shop at Kirby Park Station. It is based around the corner from one of the entrances to the Wirral Way on Sandy Lane, West Kirby and therefore an ideal visit after a stroll with your pooch. The staff are very friendly and offered treats to the dogs. Seating is both in and outside and dogs are welcome to sit anywhere. Amazing home made cakes, the hot drinks are scrumtious and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The homely 40's style decor is so cosy; this place is a little gem and definitely worth a visit. There is also a vintage shop downstairs. Another firm favourite for the dogs and I!
Mimosa Tea Garden @ Eastham Woods. A magical visit after walking through the woods at Eastham with the dogs. I have not eaten here before, but the white hot chocolate is so tasty and I love how 'cute' and quirky this place looks. The flowers in the garden are just beautiful and the atmosphere is tranquil, with regular visits from pretty little robins. The majority of the seating is outside in the 'secret garden', but a lot of the tables are under shelter so it's not a problem in the rain. There is also a small space to sit inside the gallery if preferred. To top it all off, Mimosa sells frozzy ice creams for dogs and peanuts to feed the squirrels and the prices are reasonable.
